J.F.Kennedy - Eta Cassiopeia (0,2)

The J.F.Kennedy Orbital City serves as a fully functioning base with starport facilities. Supporting mainly Trojan but is used by the entire star system. Traders not wishing to venture down to the planet surface can quite easily carry out any business dealings here. Everything you would expect to find in any city can be found somewhere on the J.F.Kennedy. Docking charges are not cheap but then you do get the benefit of knowing it is parked in a secured area which is totally protected from any external forces.

If you do manage to visit the station, one of the most popular attractions is the much talked about 'Eaglewings Bar" where quite a few Commanders gather to have a drink and a chat, swap stories and generally wind down and relax. You have to be careful sometimes because it can be a bit rough if you are not used to drunken bar fights!

Customs are quite slack on all orbital stations but this is not so of the J.F.Kennedy. You'll be lucky to get away with anything more than a tonne and if you get caught with a fair amount you'll be doing a stretch in a Cassiopeian jail.

If there is any military fuel to be found in the system that the Navy haven't already requesitioned then chances are it'll be here. Many Commanders who deal specifically in military fuel come to the J.F.K. to offload their cargo and make a quick turn around, to start all over again. Prices are sky-high for this item but then that's the price you pay for using a military drive in Eta Cassiopeia.

Police are not scarce here either. The best trained pilots the Police Department can produce are based here in the 'Aplha-Tango' squadron. The second largest office of the Police Dept is based here too, lead by Lt Pete Debrowski. If anything kicks off, inside or outside the station, these boys are ready and able to handle it!

One thing to watch out for when approaching the J.F.Kennedy are the numerous cargo freighters and passenger vessels parked around the orbiter. There is a heavy corporate presence here and much of the docking co-ordinaters time is used to direct and control commercial craft. Accidents have been known to happen and we advise very strongly that you take heed of this on your approach to the station.
